Compact water treatment plants

I’mWATER designs, manufactures, and commissions compact water treatment plants, containerized in 20″ and 40″ containers.

I’mWATER has over 15 years of experience in manufacturing water treatment plants, particularly compact drinking water plants, carrying out projects worldwide.

Over the years, our technical team has optimized the most functional designs and reduced associated production costs.

These compact drinking water plants are designed using standardized containerized structures, such as CSC containers, to facilitate transport and logistics operations. At the same time, they introduce a modular, scalable, and compact format, making them a highly viable solution for many towns and municipalities.

The modular design of these structures allows them to be relocated if necessary. They are highly scalable models, as multiple plants can operate in parallel.

I’mWATER specializes in the design, manufacturing, and commissioning of these plants, particularly in Africa, where it has extensive experience and has become one of the leading European suppliers of such systems in recent years.

The drinking water treatment plants from I’mWATER are designed to meet customer needs and can include:

  • Customized intake pumping systems (including floating pumping platforms with flexible piping).
  • Sand pre-treatment with hydrocyclones or primary settlers.
  • Chlorine dosing at intake. Manual or automatic. Also, complex chlorine gas dosing systems for high-capacity plants.
  • Coagulant and flocculant dosing at intake. pH adjustment dosing, manual or automatic.
  • Custom static mixers.
  • Custom coagulation and flocculation chambers.
  • Rapid and slow agitators.
  • Lamellar settlers, including tanks, hoppers, lamellar blocks, overflow channels, etc.
  • Intermediate pumping tanks, automatically controlled by level sensors.
  • Customized filtration pumps.
  • Pressure filtration systems using sand, anthracite, activated carbon, etc.
  • Manual or automatic filter backwashing, with water and air.
  • Post-treatment systems such as chlorination, ozonation, and UV disinfection.
  • Pumping systems for treated water according to required flow and pressure.
  • Pressure booster units for service water supply.
  • Complete electrical panels, either manual or automated.
  • Various instrumentation (flow meters, pH probes, turbidity meters, chlorine analyzers, differential pressure sensors, etc.).
  • Reliability: the plants comply with WHO regulations regarding water consumption health standards.
  • Supply capacity: I’mWATER’s standardized plants are designed to serve populations ranging from 200 to 200,000 people. Smaller or larger capacities can be customized upon request.
  • Ease of installation: since they are fully manufactured and assembled in our own facilities, civil work requirements are minimal.
  • Manufacturing lead times: very short lead times due to optimized manufacturing processes, fully developed in-house.
  • Possibility to modularize production.
  • Easy installation and commissioning.
  • Extensive experience in commissioning this type of plant in developing countries.
  • Easy transport. As a CSC container manufacturer, our plants offer fast and cost-effective logistics.

I’mWATER manufactures standardized water treatment plants with capacities of 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, 300, and 400 m³/h. However, custom plants can be built for capacities lower, intermediate, or higher than the ones mentioned. The systems are modular, and the necessary number of stages can be added to meet production requirements.
