Pilot plants

I’mWATER manufactures custom pilot plants for testing and research with water treatment systems.

We manufacture all types of pilot plants, from laboratory scale to small and medium-scale prototypes.

Our experience ranges from pilot plants for the removal of emerging microcontaminants in water treatment and wastewater plants, testing new urban and industrial purification technologies for the dairy, meat, and canning industries, small and medium-scale testing of brackish and seawater desalination plants, demineralization systems, and more.

All of our pilot plants are custom-made according to the specific needs of each client, taking into account the potential for recording detailed variables and the possibility of remote visualization and control to facilitate the work of researchers.

Some of our most recent references in pilot plants:

  • Pilot plant for microcontaminant removal using GAC adsorption. Q = 2 m³/h.
  • Pilot plant for seawater desalination. Double pass. Q = 6 m³/h permeate.
  • Pilot plant for demineralization with cationic/anionic exchange resins. Q = 2 m³/h.
  • Pilot plant for wastewater treatment from dairy industry. With biogas production and membrane reactor.
  • Pilot plant for wastewater treatment from meat industry. With biogas production and membrane reactor.
  • Pilot plant for wastewater treatment from canning industry.
